Hey guys i have a pretty major problem on my hands here. I think it might be major anyway lol if not it certainly is annoying as f***. Anyway when i turn on my PC all that comes up is one file like the desktop file and from there i can access everything in my PC but the problem is. I dont have a background or a toolbar or any file shortcuts or anything its just a black screen. Please help i figured you guys would be the best ones to ask im not sure if this is happened through a virus or a windows system failure or what. I have tried going into control paneland adding a toolbar but it wont let me also i cant put any shortcuts on my screen.

EDIT: could it have something to do wuith changeing my internet browser or turning my cookies off?
